Decision
on stop importing for re-export of the vehicle to the third country

 

- Pursuant to the Decree on the Organization and Operation of the Ministry of Finance No. 144/PM, dated 08 May 2017;
- Pursuant to the Notification of the Prime Minister’s Office on the guidelines on applying permission to import for the export vehicle to a third country No. 358/PMO, date 13 March 2018;
- Pursuant to the Instruction of the Ministry of Finance on the management of import for export vehicles, No.1409/MOF, dated 10 May 2018;
- According to the report of the Department of Customs, No.0326/DC, dated 30 April 2019.

 

Minister of Ministry of the Ministry of Finance’s Decision:

Article 1: Agree to repeal the instruction of the Ministry of Finance on the management of imports for export vehicles, No.1409/MOF, dated 10 May 2018;

 

Article 2: ​These companies that used to import for export vehicles must repeal import vehicles for export to the third countries from the date of signing this Decision onwards (Toyota Lao Thani Co., Ltd., Lao Toyota Services Co., Ltd., Toyota Champa Co., Ltd. and Lao International Logistics Co., Ltd., etc).

 

Article 3: assign the Department of Customs to summarize the implementation in the past then report to the Government by the notification of the Prime Minister’s Office, No. 358/MOF, dated 13 March 2018, specific number 4;

 

Article 4: assign to the Department of Customs and Department of TAX and relevant sectors to corporate and implement accordingly.

 

Article 5: This Decision is effective from the date of signing.
