The import, export, and transit permits for animals, aquatic animals, animal products, and aquatic products issued by the Department of Livestock and Fisheries—which previously allowed for partial/staggered shipments and quantity deductions—shall, effective from the date this Notice comes into force, be restricted to a single-use declaration at the border checkpoint (i.e., one permit per shipment/consignment). Import and export permits shall be valid for 90 days, whereas transit permits shall be valid for 10 days, starting from the date of official approval signature. Any permit that expires without being utilized shall be rendered null and void, in accordance with Decree No. 644/Gov, dated November 25, 2024.
