Customs Department of China has announced 2 notifications on changes of border trade management regulation and also defined un-exempted lists of imported goods under border trade concept

Referring to the regulations regulating border trade no. 56, dated 29 March 1996 issued by Custom Department of China and the notice in relation to the change to the above regulation no. 198 dated 26 November 2010 “allowing the citizen of China PR living within 20 Km. from the border to import-export exempted from custom so long as the amount is within 8,000 RMB. If that exceed 8,000 RMB regular custom tariff must be applied in accordance to the regulations of China.
