This procedure applies to the importation of explosive sustances and explosive equipment. A non-automatic license can be obtained from the Ministry of National Defence, Industry Department (MND). Issuance of the license is at the discretion of the Ministry. Please refer to Guideline No. 109/ID.

Note 1

An application for license may be drafted on a free form letter.

Note 2

The following documents must be presented together with the application letter.

  • Company Registration/Incorporation Certificate or Operating License

  • Tax Registration Certificate

  • Annual utilization plan for the explosives

  • Invoice

  • Packing List

  • Other contract of sale documents

The trader may proceed with the normal import. The Import License must be presented to Customs together with the normal documents.
