Department of Import and Export, Ministry of Industry and Commerce will hold a Dissemination Workshop on the Survey Results of Non-Tariff Measures faced by Lao Exporters on 15 August 2016 at Lao Plaza Hotel. The workshop invites representatives from import and export authorities, and exporters to participate in.
The purpose of this workshop is to present about the survey results of Non-Tariff Measures faced by Lao exporters. It will also open for discussion and opinion on the draft of the survey report that will be submitted to improve NTMs of the Lao PDR. Furthermore, the report will also be used in negotiation on trading with partners. Overall, the survey aims to improve trading environment particularly the export from Lao PDR competitive with international market.
