“The Collaboration Meeting with the Public and Private Sector to Implement WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement” will be organized on 8th December 2016 for private sector and on 14th December 2016 for public sector at Lao Plaza Hotel in Vientiane Capital by Department of Import and Export as an office of the Trade Facilitation Secretariat (TFS). The meeting will be chaired by Mrs. Banesaty Thephavong, Director General of Derpartment of Import and Export, Deputy Head of Trade Facilitation Secretariat, Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
The objective of this meeting is to consult with public and private sector on the preparation to extend the Trade Facilitation Agreement that the TFS has create an action plan for the agreement. It will review Category B Measures that need time to revise regulations and readiness to implement the agreement, and Category C: measures that need time and assistant from international organizations.
