It is the Government legalization of the enterprise registration to both domestic and foreign person and legal entity in the business operations in Lao PDR. All enterprise must be registered in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Enterprise(revised version) No. 46/NA, dated 26 December 2013, unless the activities in some enterprise are not required to be registered in accordance with the laws and regulations. In this Enterprise Registration (Natural Persons and Legal Entities), there is not required any business activities demonstrate in enterprise registration certificate. In addition, before operating business activities, all enterprise must apply for investment or business operation with concerned sectors in accordance with the procedures in this instruction, laws, and regulations. Enterprise Registration (Natural Persons and Legal Entities) is as follows:

  1. Decentralization of enterprise registration (Natural Persons and Legal Entities)
  2.  Application form of enterprise registration
  3. Verification of application form of enterprise registration
  4. The timeframe for issuance of enterprise registration certificate
  5. The establishment of branches, state enterprise, and cooperative enterprise
  6. Persons entitled to sign for enterprise registration certificate

Therefore, the implementation of this instruction is effective from July 01st, 2018 and shall be published in the Official Gazette before implementing.
