the Acting the Minister of Health

 

  • Pursuant to the Law on Drugs No.10/NA, dated 25 December 2007;
  • Pursuant to the Law on Drugs and Medical Products No.07/NA, dated 21 December 2011;
  • According to the United Nations Convention on Drugs (1961s), on Psychotropic Substances (1971s) on Anti-Drug Trafficking and Anti-Psychedelic Drugs (Article 12 on the main chemistry) 1988s;
  • Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decree on the organization and operation of the Ministry of Health, No.178/PM, dated 5 April 2012;
  • According to the direction of His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister, Director of Socio-Cultural Affairs on 23 May 2014.

 

In ensuring the management of the import and use of narcotics and psychotropic substances to ensure and avoid the misuse of the drugs.

 

the Acting the Minister of Health has an Order:

Strictly prohibit the import, export, distribution, trade, possession, transportation, processing, and use of Pseudoephedrine in Lao PDR.

 

Therefore, it is incumbent upon the parties concerned to jointly implement this Order strictly. This order is effective from the date of signing.
