Decision
on the pilot launching of Manifest Module and T1 Module at International Customs Border Checkpoint Friendship Bridge II&IV, Dansavanh, Boten, and Customs Units at Savannakhet Dry Port Warehouse
- Pursuant to the Law on Customs No.04/NA, dated 20 December 2011, and the Law on Customs (Amendment), No.57/NA, dated 24 December 2014.
- Pursuant to the Instruction of the Customs Department No. 00097/DC, dated 06 January 2017 on the electronic system Customs Declaration.
To ensure that the notification of freight information and the management of international transit and domestic transportation is more concise, high-tech, and up-to-date.
Director General has issued the decision:
Article 01: The International Customs Checkpoint Friendship Bridge II and IV, Dansavanh International Customs Checkpoint, Savannakhet Port Customs Service, and Boten International Customs Checkpoint to pilot the Manifest Module and Transporting Module for international freight and domestic transit for controlling the transportation of all types of goods. This pilot will be completed by 2017 and then expanded across the country in early 2018.
Article 02: The Division of Regulations and Procedures, in collaboration with the Division of Planning and Information, to draft the instructions and disseminate guidelines and training for customs officers and importers/exporters for implementing these two modules at the target international customs checkpoints across the country.
Article 03: The relevant divisions of the Customs Department, the Customs Administration Division, the Provincial Customs Inspection Division, and the International Customs Checkpoints across the country must implement strictly.
Article 04: This decision is effective from the date of signing.
