Department of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand had recently issued the announcement on the cassava import control measure and border checkpoints No. 0306/1043, dated 12 March 2019. This announcement aims to notify all entrepreneurs indenting to import cassava into Thailand, the cassava must be imported through the border checkpoints as presented in the list as stipulated in this announcement in order to ensure the quality, efficiency and safety for humans, animals, plants and environment.
