The monitoring import and export has a purpose to define principles and monitor of import commercial goods through the traditional and customary checkpoints. The implementation will be under relevant laws and regulations in order to manage export-import commercial goods at border crossings, especially regulations on sanitation plants, animals, the environment and managing revenue of the State budget.

The guidelines define types and quantities of goods and items for export-import through the traditional and customary checkpoints, such as tools and mechanic machines 1 tractor per household, 1 motor per household and 1 rice miller per 1 household. For agricultural products and plant products: 10kg of corn seed per day, 200g of seeds per day, 5kg of beans seed per day, ornamental and industrial seeds.

Exporting and importing goods will be subject to duty-free tax and customs if the goods are not valued more than US $ 50 under Article 19 of the Free Duty, Customs and other general obligations, no. 04 / NA, dated 20 December 2011. In the case of goods’ value are higher than US$ 50, the goods must be check in the International checkpoint, however, if exporters-importers are licensed by the relevant sector or registered under the laws of the enterprise.
