Notification

 

To: Ministries, organizations, embassies, projects and companies importing and exporting vehicles.

Subject: The introduction of Laos National Single Window (LNSW) system to manage the import of vehicles at the International Customs Checkpoint, Friendship Bridge 1 (Vientiane Capital).

  • Pursuant to the Notification of the Department of Customs, No. 00609/DOC, dated 03 February 2020 on the use of LNSW system in the management of the import of vehicles at the International Customs Checkpoint, Friendship Bridge 1.

 

The Department of Import and Export (DIMEX) is pleased to inform you that: According to the notification of the Department of Customs, No. 00609/DOC, DIMEX will consider issuing import licenses for vehicles imported through Friendship Bridge 1 (Vientiane Capital). For other forms of import, such as the importation of ministries, projects, embassies, domestic and international organizations under the duty and/or tax exemption system will be implemented from 01 March 2020 onwards. Anyone who has not yet registered for the LNSW system should register as soon as possible, by contacting the Joint Development Company for a one-stop tax declaration system to receive training and register for the system user code by downloading the form on the website www.prod.laonsw.net ຫຼື ເວັບໄຊ www.laotradeportal.gov.la

            For other international customs clearance, the paper work can continue to be used until further notice.
