Notification

            To: - Provincial and Vientiane Capital Division of Industry and Commerce.

                - Director of processing and handicraft factories throughout the country.

            Subject: Continuation of measures to prevent and control the disease of COVID-19 in processing and handicraft factories.

  • Pursuant to the Notification of the Prime Minister’s Office, No.806/PMO, dated 29 July 2020 on the continued implementation of measures to mitigate, prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 from 01-31 August 2020.
  • Pursuant to the Instruction of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s COVID-19 Committee, No. 0524/MOIC.CVCC, dated 2 June 2020.

The Minister of Industry and Commerce issued a notice:

  1. Continue to implement measures to mitigate, prevent and control the outbreaks of COVID-19 in accordance with the Notification of the Prime Minister’s Office, No.806/PMO, dated 29 July 2020.
  2. Factory industrial processing and crafts of all kinds can conduct business as usual by operating conditions and measures recommended by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s COVID-19 Committee, No.0524/MOIC.CVCC, dated 02 June, and the notification of the Department of Industry and Handicrafts, No. 0916, dated 02 July 2020, by continuing to implement measures to prevent and control the outbreaks of COVID-19 in the industrial processing and crafts.
  3. Entering experts, technicians or workers shall follow the guidelines for entry and exit to Lao PDR during the period of prevention, control and response of the COVID-19 outbreak issued by the Central Task Force from time to time.
  4. The Provincial and Vientiane Capital Division of Industry and Commerce shall summarize its implementation report to the Department of Industry and Handicraft every 25th of the month.
  5. This notification is effective from the date of signing.

Therefore, we would like to inform you to implement it strictly.
