To: - The office of the authority certifying the country of origin (CO) of the product with
Trade Preferential;
- Entrepreneurs export to China and related sectors.
Subject: The Implementation of the Certificate of Origin under the non-reciprocal preferences of the People's Republic of China (GSP 97%) and the official membership of Mongolia under the Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA).
- Pursuant to the letter of trade preferential exchange to waive tariff of China to Lao PDR, dated 14 October 2020;
- Pursuant to the letter from the Department of Trade Policy, Ministry of Industry and Commerce. No 0686/FTD.TG, dated 23 December 2020;
- Pursuant to the notification from UN ESCAP No. OES/B/9, dated 29 October 2020;
- Pursuant to the notification from the Permanent Secretariat Office of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce No. 2388 / PSO.FTPD, dated 30 December 2020.
The Permanent Secretary Office of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce is pleased to inform about the implementation of the Certificate of Origin under the non-reciprocal preferences of the People's Republic of China (GSP 97%) tax exemption for the LDCs and the official membership of Mongolia under the Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA).
- Implementation of Certificate of Origin Special Preference Treatment under the non-reciprocal preferences of the People's Republic of China (GSP 97%) tax exemption for least developed countries by starting to implement the print from 1 January 2021 onwards. The printed form can be obtained from the Department of Import and Export, Ministry of Industry and Commerce or the office of the authority certifying the country of origin (CO) assigned by the Department of Import and Export , Ministry of Industry and Commerce;
- The official membership of Mongolia under the Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA), on 29 September 2020, by completing the application for ratification of the Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA) to UN ESCAP in Bangkok. Mongolia shall start to implement tariff reduction under the Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA) with APTA member countries including Lao PDR from 1 January 2021 onwards.
