NTFC has issued the Decision on endorsement of guideline for implementing risk management of authorities at the border checkpoints No. 002/NTFC dated 21 January 2021, in order to implement the following provisions:
1. Establish its own risk management unit
2. Establish a joint risk management committee consisting of the risk management units of each department and the relevant units at each checkpoint.
3. Developing a detailed guideline on the implementation of risk management work for each units at border checkpoints, such as operating standards.
4. Sign a formal Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of risk services and post-import review.
The relevant departments which have mentioned in Decision No. 002/NTFC shall report the implementation a monthly basis to the Department of Import and Export, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, on behalf of the Trade Facilitation Secretariat in order to inform the report to the National Trade Facilitation Committee for a further decision.
