Dear: Public Work and Transportations Division at the Central at All Provinces in the nation.
Subject: Extended coordination mechanism for transportation in the nation and import-export during the Covid-19 outbreaks
- Persuade to the Order on enhancing measures to prevent and control the outbreak disease of COVID-19, No 15/PM, date 21 April 2021;
- Persuade to the Notification on the goods transportation in Lao PDR, during COVID-19 pandemic outbreak prevents and controls, No.242/MPWT, date 23 April 2021.
The National Operation for COVID-19, Ministry of Public Work and Transports (MPWT) is pleased to clarify the MPWT’s Notification on the goods transportation in Lao PDR, during COVID-19 pandemic outbreak prevents and controls, No.242/MPWT, date 23 April 2021, which has not been implemented to the right direction in a few provinces.
Additionally, the Prime Minister’s Order on enhancing measures to prevent and control the outbreak disease of COVID-19, No 15/PM, date 21 April 2021, that does not mean to terminate any transportation for goods in provinces and import-export, however, a few provinces have been terminated the transports.
Therefore, the National Operation for COVID-19, Ministry of Public Work and Transports encourages the coordination mechanism, which is relevant to the public, work transports, between provinces and The National Operation for COVID-19, Ministry of Public Work and Transports in order to facilitate the transportation for goods. These will boost the living life of locals, improve the goods distribute channels around the nation and reduce number of transport trucks traffics during import-export goods.
