The total exports were approximately US$ 390 million. The main value exports included US$ 23 million of copper ore, US$ 11 million of copper and copper products, US$ 15 million of banana, US$ 43 million of mix gold (gold bars), US$ 8 million of cassava, US$ 12 million of cloth, US$ 9 million of raw coffee, US$ 6 million of sugar, US$ 32 million of rubber and US$ 7 million of rice.
The main import category
The total imports were approximately US$ 521 million. The main value imports included US$ 39 millions of vehicles (other than motorcycles, tractors), US$ 11 millions of electric parts and equipment, US$ 48 millions of diesel, US$ 33 millions of mechanical equipment (other than motor vehicles), US$ 7 millions of steel, steel products, magnetic steel, US$ 18 millions of beverage (water, soda, energy ...), US$ 62 millions of auto parts (including tires, mirrors, chains ...), US$ 15 millions of gasoline and premium gasoline, US$ 21 millions of plastic products and US$ 23 millions of wood pulp and waste paper.

The main exporting countries of Lao PDR included China US$ 134 million, Vietnam US$ 99 million, Thailand US$ 65 million, India US$ 14 million and USA US$ 7 million.
The five main importing countries of the Lao PDR
The main importing countries of Laos included: Thailand US$ 253 million, China US$ 138 million, Vietnam US$ 50 million, Japan US$ 5 million and USA US$ 17 million.
