To: The Operators that import food, medicine and medical products across the country.
Subject: in using the NSWA system.
- According to the Decree on Organization and Operations of the Ministry of Health, No. 570/PM;
- According to the expansion plan, installation and training in the use of the NSWA+ System at all offices and international checkpoints across the country, No. 08220/DC, dated 07 September 2023;
- According to the agreement of the Department of Food and Drugs.
The Department of Food and Drug, Ministry of Health would like to inform that: in implementing and developing the government's policy by facilitating and improving trade, reducing unnecessary procedures that delay and waste resources by modernizing from the paper system to the National Single Window ASYCUDA Plus (NSWA+) for importing of products authorized by the Department of Food and Drugs, as detailed below:

The new system will be officially started from 09 January 2024 onwards through the website www.laonsw.net; Therefore, we would like to inform the companies that import food, medicine and medical products to urgently submit to the Department of Customs, Ministry of Finance to request the user code of the system by attaching the documents according to the form of Appendix 2 of the Instruction on the Utilization of Lao National Single Window No. 4217/MOF, dated 28 December 2018.
Please be informed and implemented accordingly.
