The Ministry of Industry of Commerce has issued a decision on the authorization to Nhongthong-Vientiane on the issue and implementation of certification of origin for goods entitled the preferential trade, No 0716/MOIC.DIMEX, Dated 22 April 2013. Its objective is to give authorization to the Nhongthong-Vientiane industrial and trade zone to issue and manage certification of origin for products that are entitled to preferential trade, i.e. products that are produced through manufacturing under the management of the Nhongthong-Vientiane industrial and trade zone, in order to enhance and facilitate business sectors that come to invest for exporting in that area. The issue of self-certification of origin is specific for products that are produced under the requirements and conditions of the certificate of origin. This regulation will be effective as of 1st July 2013 onward.
