The Deputy Minister of Vietnam’s MoIT explained that the Draft of Trade Border Agreement will build significant conditions for trade relation between Laos-Vietnam, as a part to enhance collaboration on economic-trade, link ASEAN and Group of Mekong Subregion that will support cooperation between border provinces of both countries on economic, trade, social and culture. It is also a part of paving road on Laos-Vietnam border for interchange, peace, collaboration and long-term development.
The Minister of Lao PDR’s MoIC stated that for the Draft of Trade Agreement presented by Vietnam’s MoIT, we will be working on how to finalize the agreement. At the end of June, the Laos’s MoIC will keep working on the draft of agreement and assign relevant agency to research for both countries’ benefits.
