In order to define principles, rules and measures on the movement, administration, inspecting foreign currency businesses and activities for effectiveness, correction; aiming to raise value and stability of national currency; promote flows of domestic goods and currency; the Lao PDR National Assembly issued Law on Foreign Currency Administration No. 55/NA, dated 22 December 2014, which consist of 9 chapters and 54 articles.
