Notification

 

 

To:              - International Customs Border Checkpoint of Friendship Bridge IV

                    - International Customs Border Checkpoint of Boten

                    - Customs Inspection Unit in Bokeo and Louangnamtha Provinces

Subject:      The Management on International Transit of Petroleum via the International Customs Border Checkpoints at Mom Village, Tonpherng District, Bokeo Province.

 

-     Pursuant to Customs Law (Amended) no. 04/NA, dated 20 December 2011.

-     Pursuant to Decision of Bokeo Governor no. 1669/GOV.BK, dated 10 October 2015 on the Approval to the LS Transit Shipping Co., Ltd to import petroleum from Thailand via the International Customs Border Checkpoint at Friendship Bridge IV to Third Country.

-     Pursuant to the Report of the Customs Department no. 00560/CD, dated 26 October 2015.

-     Pursuant to the Guidance of Vice Minister of Finance on 26 October 2015.

As the China has terminated the petroleum import via the International Customs Border Checkpoint of Boten, in order to ensure the management on the international transit of petroleum of companies tightly, the Customs Department notifies:

  1. The International Customs Border Checkpoint of Friendship Bridge IV and the International Customs Border Checkpoint of Boten are assigned to have collaboration for the management on the international transit of petroleum between the customs border checkpoint of origin (Customs Border Checkpoint at Mom Village, Tonphern Dirstrict) and the customs border checkpoint of destination (Xeinggok border checkpoint, Louangnamtha province) strictly and tightly according to the Report of the International Customs Border Checkpoint of Friendship Bridge IV no. 0955/CT.KMP 4, dated 28 September 2015. Any international transit of petroleum via the ship, shall also be complied the same.
  2. The international transit of petroleum via land and river shall be charged 350,000 kip/time according to the Notification of Ministry of Finance no. 2402/MOF, dated 17 July 2015 strictly.
  3. The International Customs Border Checkpoint of Friendship Bridge IV, the International Customs Border Checkpoint of Boten and the Customs Inspection Unit in Bokeo and Louangnamtha Provinces are assigned to have collaboration for the aforementioned management on the international transit of petroleum to prevent any leaking channel. If any difficulty is found in practice, shall report and seek guidance from the Customs Department.
  4. The implementation of this Notification shall be valid until 31 December 2015, then the Customs Border Checkpoints and the Customs Inspection Units shall report the implementation to the Customs Department.
