Procedures for applying import and transit licenses of plants, plant products and

controlled list (the controlled list is drafting).

Procedure 1: Documents

Application form (the form is available);

Enterprise registration;

Business license (agriculture and forestry sector);

Annual tax return;

Invoice;

Company import plan (three months or one year import plan)

Procedure 2: Assessment documents

Once the documents submitted to the Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, an Officer will review the accurate immediately. If the documents are correct according to procedure 1 then it will be received, however, if the applications are unsuccessful then it will return the applicant to re-submit.

Procedure 3 Consideration

The Department of Agriculture will take 15 business days to consider in issuing import and transit licenses for plants, plant products and controlled list. In a case that is denied to issue import license, the applicant shall be informed in writing and explain the reasons.

Procedure 4 issuing the import license

Import licenses are issued by the Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and can only be used once.

Procedure 5: Obtain the license

Entrepreneurs can obtain the license at the Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on the date and time set. The fee for importing one set is 40,000 kip (forty thousand Kip).
