of Bokeo Governor
on Parking Spaces Administration at the 4th International Friendship Bridge
To: Director of Departments, organizations in the Province, istricts, Head of International Border, Chief of Customs checkpoint at the 4th International Friendship Bridge, Transport Companies, Enterprises and concerned agencies to the transportation of import and export goods via the 4th International Friendship Bridge in Bokeo Province.
Subject: The operation of Parking Spaces at the 4th International Friendship Bridge from 01/03/2016 onwards and Charges for the Parking spaces and loading goods.
- Pursuant to Bokeo Governor’s Decision no. 157/G.BK, dated 19 February 2016 on the approval of Lao State Transportation Services Company in cooperation with provincial authorities to provide parking spaces and other services at the 4th International Friendship Bridge and developing the land area outside the border checkpoint.
- Pursuant to a Decision on an establishment of a committee for Parking Spaces Construction Administration at the 4th International Friendship Bridge.
- Pursuant to meeting minute of the committee for Parking Spaces Construction Administration at the 4th International Friendship Bridge dated 22 February 2016.
Bokeo Governor issues an Order as follows:
1. Department of Finance and Lao State Transportation Services Company are authorized to provide parking space services for truck at the 4th International Friendship Bridge from 1st March 2016 onwards.
2. Department of Finance and Lao State Transportation Services Company are authorized to collect service fees for parking spaces and loading goods at the 4th International Friendship Bridge according to the Notification of Ministry of Industry and Commerce no. 1291/MOIC.DTD, dated 5 Aug 2008 as follows:

Fees being calculated based on type of truck are charged for parking within 03 days, if it exceeds 03 days additional fee will be charged.

3. In case of loading by using heavy machine the service fee shall be collected according to the Notification of Ministry of Industry and Commerce no. 1291/MOIC.DTD, dated 5 Aug 2008.
4. The appointed committee and customs officers at the 4th International Friendship Bridge shall disseminate this Order to companies, enterprises and concerned authorities for strict implementation.
5. Authorities at the international check point shall report the achievement and difficulties after implementing this order to leaders of Bokeo province for consideration and prompt guidance.
6. This order enters into force at the date of signature. Any order that contradicts to this Order shall be abolished.
