To: Individuals, legal entities, and organizations at every level, officers, soldiers, policemen,Citizens, immigrants, foreigners who are active and living within the territory of Lao PDR.
Subject: The implementation of the revised Tax Law No. 70/ NA, dated 15th December 2015.
- Pursuant to the resolution of the National Assembly meeting No. 019/NA, dated 15th December 2015;
- Pursuant to the amended Tax Law No. 70/NA, dated 15th December 2015;
- Pursuant to the President’s decree No. 023/ PO, dated 28th January 2016;
- Pursuant to Ministry of Justice’s publishing in the Official Gazette on 09th May 2016.
Ministry of Finance has an honor to inform about the implementation of revised Tax Law No. 70/NA, dated 15 December 2015. It will be effective from the date of issuing a decree promulgated by the President of the Lao PDR and after it has been published in the Official Gazette for 15 days (on 09th May 2016) as being stated in Article 100 of the revised Tax Law. Therefore, the revised Tax Law is entering into force from 24th May 2016 onwards.
Therefore, this is to notify for acknowledgement and implementation.
