On May 25, 2018, at Crown Plaza Hotel. Department of Import and Export on behalf of TFS held the 7th TFS annual meeting. In the meeting, there are presentations on the result of the implementation of Trade Facilitation Roadmap 2017-2022 for past 06 months. There are four activities were implemented, 21 activities are implementing and 05 activities have not been implemented. There are 07 results of those implementations including the reformation of Roadmap structure and regulations, infrastructure development for trade facilitation, personnel development, creating a favorable environment for doing business and implementation of WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
In addition, concerned sectors for instance Department of Industry and Handicrafts, Department of Transport, and Customs Department have improved their internal procedure and regulation for import of vehicle parts and worked together to improve the issuance of licenses/certificates.
