Pursuant to Socio-economic development, trade and investment of Vietnam on November 2018 report, trade value between Laos-Vietnam from January to October 2018 reached US$ 854,56 million, increased 25,61% compared to last year (Trade value of between Laos-Vietnam in 2017 reached US$ 680,33 million)

The export value of Laos to Vietnam reached US$ 370,17 million, increased 25,81% compared to last year (US$ 294,23 million). The main export products are wood products, minerals, bananas, corn, fans, rice cookers, electricity, etc.

The import value of Laos to Vietnam reached US$ 454,39 million, increased 25,46% compared to last year (US$ 386,10 million). The main import products are household appliances, seafood, phone cables, construction steel, fuel, vehicles and spare parts, cement etc.
