The value of import-export of Lao PDR in 2018 achieved approximately US$ 11.25 billion (including import and export of electricity). In that, the import value was approximately US$ 5.84 billion and export value was approximately US$ 5.41 billion.
1. Illustration of export products
Main export products are electricity, copper minerals, copper and articles of copper, spare parts of video recorder, beverage, clothing and natural rubber.
2. Illustration of import products
Main import products are vehicles, electrical appliances, fuel (diesel), mechanical equipment, steel and steel products, spare parts of vehicle, fuel (regular and super), steel bars and transformed steel and electricity.
3. Illustration of export countries
Main export countries are Thailand, China, Vietnam, India, Japan, and Germany.
4. Illustration of import countries
Main import countries are Thailand, China, Vietnam, Japan, the Republic of Korea and Indonesia.
