The monthly import and export of November 2019 reached more than US$ 1,000 million. The exports value US$ 372 million and imports value US$ 635 million and the trade deficit was approximately US$ 263 million.

The total of exports in November was approximately US$ 372 million. The exports included, US$ 39 million of gold ore; US$ 34 million of copper and accessories made of copper, US$ 21 million of bananas, US$ 19 million of pulp and paper, US$ 19 million of frames and camera parts, US$ 21 million of beverages, US$ 18 million of mix gold and bar gold, US$ 17 million of clothing, US$ 15 million of electrical and electrical equipment, US$ 28 million of rubber and US$ 30 million of cattle.
The main import category
The total of imports in November was approximately US$ 635 million. The imports included US$ 36 million vehicles besides tractors and motorcycles, US$ 80 million of electrical machinery and equipment, US$ 43 million of diesel, US$ 34 million of mechanical equipment (other than motor vehicles), US$ 65 million of steel, magnetic steel and steel products, US$ 22 million of beverages, US$ 16 million of vehicle parts (including tires, glasses, chains ...), US$ 28 million of plastic and plastic products, US$ 13 million of sugar and US$ 25 million of cattle.
The five main exporting countries of Lao PDR
The main export countries of Lao PDR included China US$ 133 million, Thailand US$ 81 million, Vietnam US$ 98 million, India US$ 14 million and Japan US$ 7 million.

The main importing countries of Laos are: Thailand US$ 292 million, China US$ 234 million, Vietnam US$ 64 million, Japan US$ 10 million and Unite States US$ 4 million.
