Pursuant to the Ministry of Finance's Guideline on the Application of Single Window Tax No. 4217/MOF, on 28 December 2018 and the Department of Custom’s Guideline’s No. 04145/DOC on 23 May 2019. Thus, the Department of Customs has released a new notification on the use of the National Single Window Tax System (LNSW) in controlling all types of import vehicles at the International Friendship Bridge Checkpoint 1, No 00609/DOC on 03 February 2020.

In promoting and improving tax services to be faster, modern and transparency by using the system of LNSW in order to manage import all types of vehicles at International Friendship Bridge Checkpoint 1. The system of LNSW can be seen as a crucial tool to link the payment system and customs system in the same mechanism for import and export vehicles through the checkpoint. Furthermore, the system can assist to achieve better collecting import vehicles and revenues into the national treasury. Also, the system aims to uniform the same procedures and practices between customs officers and entrepreneurs who have to import and export vehicles.

If a company does not register to use the one-door tax system that must consult to the joint venture one-door tax system development in order to be registered before February 29, 2020, then from 01 March 2020 onwards, the system will be applied into all kind of import and export vehicles.
