According to the Notification of the Mexican Embassy, No. TAI-00809, dated 18 September 2020 that prohibit import pork and pork products from 57 countries which are:
Belgium, Benin, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Congo, Czech Republic, Estonia, Gambia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guinea Bissau, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy (Sardinia), Ivory Coast, Kenya, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Madagascar, Malawi, Moldova, Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nigeria, North Korea, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Togo, Ukraine, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Travelers who have been stayed or transited from these countries that must declare if they have had contact with animals from farms or zoos during their stay in the countries within the past 15 days before arrival to Mexico.
