Guidelines

 

To: - Board of Director of the Lao Petroleum and Gas Association.

       - Import-export petroleum companies, lubricating oil and cooking gas.

Subject:  Guideline on managing import petroleum, lubricating oil and cooking gas through the Lao National Single Window at the Lao-Thai International Friendship Bridge 1 Checkpoint, Vientiane Capital.

  • Pursuant to the Notification on the use of the Lao National Single Window System to manage the import of general goods and fuel at the 1st Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge, No.1573/COF. dated 05 August 202
  • Pursuant to the Notification on the Lao National Single Window for managing petrol, lubricant and cooking gas at the Lao-Thai International Bridge 1 (Vientiane Capital), No. 2687/DIMEX.IEMD, dated 01 September 2020.
  • According to the meeting on the use of Lao National Single Window (LNSW) system to manage the import of fuel, lubricant and cooking gas, on 16 October 2020.

 

   The Department of Import and Export aims to implement issuance of licenses for fuel, lubricant and cooking gas in order to ensure the uniformity of practice the LNSW system during the last two months of the year 2020 as details as following:

  1. Import-export companies cooperate with authorized officers at the International Customs Checkpoint, Friendship Bridge 1 (Vientiane Capital) to confirm the quantity to import which is authorized by the Department of Import and Export. Then provide the quantity to the Joint Venture Single Window Ltd for updates to the system of LNSW.
  2. For additional imports of fuel, lubricant and cooking gas in the last two months of 2020 and beginning of 2021 that can apply through the LNSW system according to Notification No. 2687/DIMEX.IEMD, date 01 September 2020.
