The main value exports included US$ 26 million of copper ore, US$ 17 million of banana, US$ 59 million of mix gold (gold bars), US$ 6 million of cassava, US$ 11 million of clothes, US$ 10 million of raw coffee, US$ 3 million of sugar, US$ 10 million of robber, US$ 4 million of fruits (water melon, passion fruits and tamarind) and US$ 2 million of sawn wood.
The main import category
The total imports were approximately US$ 479 million. The main value imports included US$ 45 millions of vehicles (other than motorcycles, tractors), US$ 19 millions of electric devices and equipment, US$ 37 millions of diesel, US$ 35 millions of mechanic equipment (other than motor vehicles), US$ 23 millions of steel, steel products, magnetic steel, US$ 21 millions of beverage (water, soda, energy ...), US$ 15 millions of auto parts (including tires, glass, chains ...), US$ 14 millions of plastic products, US$ 12 millions of fertilizers and US$ 13 millions of food factories waste.

The main exporting countries of Lao PDR included China US$ 168 million, Vietnam US$ 106 million, Thailand US$ 60 million, Switzerland US$ 17 million and Germany US$ 7 million.
