According to the Resolution No. 605 of the Government of Georgia of 29 December 2017, the new amendments have been introduced to official certificate forms for certain goods, more specifically:
1. Health Certificate for canned pet food intended for dispatch to or for transit through (2) Georgia (Annex No.10 of the Resolution);
2. Health Certificate for processed pet food other than canned pet food, intended for dispatch to or for transit through (2) Georgia (Annex No.11);
3. Health Certificate for dog chews intended for dispatch to or for transit through (2) Georgia (Annex No.12);
4. Health Certificate for raw pet food for direct sale or animal by-products to be fed to fur animals, intended for dispatch to or for transit through (2) Georgia (Annex No.13).
Henceforth the LEPL-National Food Agency would recommend that for the purpose of importing and transiting aforementioned commodities in/through Georgia to follow the content of these Certificates. The amendment shall enter into force on October 1st, 2021.
