Subject:     China’s Generalized System of Preferences from GSP 97% up to GSP 98%

 

-     According to the letter from the Economic-Commercial Advisor, Embassy of China in Lao PDR, No. 144/CN, dated 16 August 2022.

 

The Cabinet Office, Ministry of Industry and Commerce is honored to inform you that the Chinese Government has upgraded the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) by exempting the tariff rate to 0% for less developed countries from 97% to 98% or from 8,256 items to 8,930 items, which will be effective from 01 September 2022 onwards.
