The World Bank has published online a summary of the results and achievements so far of the Trade Development Facility (TDF) multi donor trust of fund which has supported Lao PDR’s continued development in terms of trade facilitation, strengthening of the frameworks for sanitary and phytosanitary standards and technical barriers to trade, increasing export competitiveness and general capacity building in formulating trade policy, negotiating trade agreements and taking advantage of global opportunities.  The second multi-annual phase of TDF got under way in May this year.
