Notification

            To:      Head of Agriculture and Forestry Provinces, Vientiane Capital and Special Zone through country

            Subject: Export Citrus to Korea Republic

  • Pursuant to guidance Minister of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry dated 30 September 2003.
  • Pursuant to report of Agriculture Department on Notification letter by National permanent secretariat office, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Korea Republic for Export Citrus to Korea Republic, No 0797/MOFA.2004, dated 29 September 2003.

The Permanent Secretariat Office of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry issue a notification that National Quarantine Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Korea Republic has send Notification Letter to Agriculture Department, Lao PDR to warn on Citrus greening disease which science name called Liberabucier asiaticum and L africanum.

Therefore, Korea Republic is strictly forbidden submission to send leap, fruit, main category, seeds, nuts, and all parts of Citrus entry to the Korea Republic and this notice shall be effective from 21 September 2003.

Therefore, this must be inform and strictly implementation.
