Notice
On Temporarily Ceased Importation and Re-exportation of Logs, Semi Processed Woods from Natural Forest of Lao PDR and Kingdom of Cambodia
- Persuant to the Government Decree on roles, rights, duties, and structure of Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ref. No. 95/2012/NĐ-CP, dated 12/11/2012;
- Persuant to the Government Decree on detailed implimenting Commercial Law on procedures of international trade, and on sell-purchase agents, processing for export and products in transit to overseas, Ref. No. 187/2013/NĐ-CP, dated 20/11/2013 ;
In order to implement refer to guidance of Mr. Hoang Trung Hai, Vice Minister, according to official letter No. 4505/VPCP-KTN, dated 18/06/2014 of Government Office on Governing Mechanism on Importation of Raw Timber from Cambodia and Offficial Letter No. 7294/VPCP-KTN, dated 19/9/2014 of Government Office on temporarily ceased importation and re-exportation of logs, semi processed wood from Natural Forest;
Persuant to proposal of Director General of Import and Export Department;
Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade had issued Notification on Temporarily Ceased Importation and Re-exportation of Logs and Semi Processed Wood from Natural Forest of Lao PDR and Kingdom of Cambodia.
Article 1. Temporarily ceased importation and re-exportation of timbers.
1. Temporarily ceased importation and re-exportation of logs, semi processed wood (in HS code 44.03 and 44.07 according to Table of Import and Export Products of Vietnam) from Natural Forest of Lao PDR and Kingdom of Cambodia to be re-export to third country.
2. For the agreements that were signed before this Notice become effective, enterprenuers can request for temporarily permission for importation untill 31/12/2014.
Article 2. Effectiveness
1. This Notice shall be effective starting from 08th December 2014.
2. Relavance Ministries, organizations equivalent to Ministry, entreprenuers, organizations, individuals, entities, have duty to implement this Notice and other related regulations.
3. During implementation period, in case there is any issue or difficulty, relevance division or individual could purpose to Ministry of Industry and Trade to consider and to resolve issue in time.
