The purpose of this training is to build up knowledge, capacity on writing news, articles, and publications for government officers, particularly management team, focal points of Lao PDR Trade Portal and relevant sectors to ensure principles, clarity, and in timely manner. In order to disseminate trade information for public view. Furthermore, it is also to exchange knowledge of writing experience between the speakers and the audients.
The training was organized according to its agenda which its main contents are: 1) Report at a glance; 2) Article and introduction; 3) Interview technics; 4) Comparison news and articles; 5) Basis of articles; 6) Special report and scopes; 7) Media morality; 8; Phrase and language to use in news; 9) Technics on news and publications; 10) Analyzing and evaluating news; 11) Writing news according to regulations, notifications, decisions, etc; 12) Basic photographing.
The training was held with energetic and friendly atmosphere, together with questions, ideas, to exchange the views. The participants paid attention to learn lessons, knowledge from the speakers. The speakers concentrated on giving lessons, knowledge to the participants by giving details on each contents. Additionally, the exercise on writing news has made participants a better understanding.
The training was organized for three days. Even through it was a short period but concluded good result and achieved its goals. At the end, certificates of this training were given to the participants.
