In order to facilitate exporters and phytosanitary entrepreneurs, preventing effects on agriculture and forestry product from Lao PDR to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and to assure the implementation on International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures of International Plant Protection Convention (ISPMs-IPPC) and phytosanitary importation restriction of Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry issued Order to Increase Strictness on Administration and Inspection of Phytosanitary Certification for Plants and Plant Products to Socialist Republic of Vietnam, No. 3300/MoAF, Vientiane Capital, dated 30/10/2014.
In accordance with the MoU between the Plantation Department (Lao PDR) and Plantation Protection Department (Socialist Republic of Vietnam) on phytosanitary and one single inspection services on 3/10/2014 at Quang Tri Province, Vietnam, and the Notification from Plantation Protection Department, Vietnam, on Phytosanitary Certification for Plants and Plants product to Socialist Republic of Vietnam, dated 14/10/2014 to facilitate government sector as well as private sector on declaration and one single inspection which would save time and cost consuming.
