Customs Department, Ministry of Finance issues a notification on gas administrative through the international checkpoint, Ban Mom Custom Checkpoint, Ton Pheung District, Bokeo Province no 00620/CD, dated 28 October 2015 requiring the coordination between Friendship bridge IV international checkpoint and Boten international checkpoint to administrate the transit of gas through international borders between starting route (Ban Mom customs checkpoint, Ton Pheung District) and end route (Xiengkok checkpoint, Luangnamtha province).
In addition, Friendship bridge IV international checkpoint, Boten international checkpoint and inspection unit in Bokeo province are also authorized to coordinate with each other in administrating the transit of gas through the checkpoints to narrow the gap of smuggling.
The notification is effective until 31 December 2015.
