This procedure applies to importation of telecommunications equipment.  An Import License can be obtained from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPT). Please refer to the Law on Telecommunications No. 9/NA.

An application for license can be drafted on a free form letter.

Note 2

Required documents to be presented together with the application for license are the following.

  • Company Registration/Incorporation Certificate

  • Tax Registration Certificate

  • Other document may be requested

The trader may proceed with normal import. The Import License must be presented to Customs together with the normal import documents.
