Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC) issued an Instruction No. 1050/MoIC.DIMEX, dated 13 June 2016 to supplement the Prime Minister’s Order No. 15/PM, dated 13 May 2016 on Enhancing Strictness on the Management and Inspection of Timber Exploitation, Timber Movement and Timber Business to enhance responsibilities and to guarantee harmonization on the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Order No. 15/PM and the Notification No. 769/PS.PM.
The Notification institutes to the Provincial-Vientiane Department of Industry and Commerce to immediately implement and raise awareness of the Order No. 15/PM in order to ensure apprehension and effective implementation. Furthermore, it also calls to increase strictness on the implementation, rights, and responsibility according to the laws.
The Notification became effective on 13 June 2016. The other Orders, Decisions, Notifications, legal documents, and local regulations against this Order are officially null.
