Pursuant to an Instruction on the Lao National Single Window to issue the license for the import-export, transit or import for re-export of goods under Department of Import and Export No. 1753/DIMEX.IEMD, dated 29 March 2019, all business activities related to the import-export, transit or import for re-export of goods under DIMEX will be launched by LNSW, aiming to reduce procedures, time, the cost for entrepreneurs and to transmute the manual into the electronic system for its accuracy and transparency.

Conditions user for the government sector
To be an LNSW user for issuing the license, the government staffs need to have the following criteria:
1) Must have computer skills and internet;
2) Must be appointed by Director General/Deputy Director General for responsibility concerning the import and export license via LNSW;
3) Must be participated LNSW training workshop;
4) Must have an email address.
Conditions user for the companies
Individuals, entities and organizations, domestic or foreign indenting to undertake the license for the import-export, transit or import for re-export of goods under DIMEX via LNSW, shall register as LNSW user. Click here to see the registration.
Currently, DIMEX has started launching the import and export license of the vehicle via LNSW on February 25, 2019. In the near future, the goods under DIMEX, for instance, fuel, lubricant, cooking gas, vehicle and rough diamond.
